Well, friends. Today is the day. It is the long-awaited release of Snow Fright!! I couldn't be more excited! Some of you have been long-time fans of the Scarily Ever Laughter series and have waited since 2016 to see this book's publication. Others are new friends and are just learning about the series. To me, this book has lived in my heart forever. Gnawing away like worms in a corpse. Eating me alive from the inside out. Haha! I jest. I love this story. It has been a long journey though and I'm so glad to finally be able to say that Snow Fright is here. For good. At the conference I attended earlier this month in Vegas, they spoke a lot about relationship building. Not just with fans, friends, and family but with our business partners, work-for-hire, editors, and illustrators. Last week I spent four days in Vegas. If I'm being honest, I never thought I'd travel to the west coast. But there was a big writer's conference and so many of the friends I'd made at the Edinburgh conference were going to be there. So, of course, I jumped at the chance of a reunion. It was definitely worth my while! The conference was fantastic! Seeing my friends was really such a bonus. Being a writer is so solitary, I often forget how lonely it gets. As an extrovert (uncommon in the writing community), I really am fueled by relationships. I feel so refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to tackle more books! As a result of that conference, I've been considering expanding the Scarily Ever Laughter series. So many readers have requested a book from Ethan's point of view and I'd love to give that to them!
