Unbelievably, it's  the first time in a very long time that I've been ready for Christmas a week in advance, including all my cookies baked, gifts delivered to neighbors (albeit a bit dry and over-baked homemade cinnamon rolls...but it's the thought that counts, right?), and presents wrapped.  It's been go, go, go for weeks and frankly I'm exhausted.  It feels good to finally have a few days to relax and enjoy family time.  I'm looking forward to cooking meals together, watching movies, eating all of those treats, playing games, and enjoying moments by the fire.  While there's so much hustle and bustle, I wanted to take a moment to  wish you all a very Merry Christmas and happy holiday season.   Happy December!   I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. The weather was perfect here – 70 degrees and sunny – so we enjoyed a walk around our beautiful community lake. A perfect opportunity to burn off all the calories we consumed!   There’s something big in the works here and I’m just bursting at the seams to share it with you. But…but…it has to wait a little longer. Rest assured, you’ll be the first to hear the announcement sometime after the new year.   While I’ve been busy with other projects, I’ve still been plugging away at writing and editing other books. It does mean some of the time I’d use to focus on writing is spent on the other project, however. So, unfortunately, that means I’ve been a bit delayed with the upcoming release of Nadia’s True Colors , book 4 in the Unicorn Tales series.
